a "royal" wedding

alright, alright. i'll admit it. i've been excited for this royal wedding for a while.
i'm not sure  what was so interesting to me.
i have no close ties to England and, obviously no ties to the "royals".
nonetheless, i have loved watching the festivities this past week.
(i did not, however, wake up at 2 am to witness the event)

while watching the ceremony i couldn't help but think of my own wedding.
and how much more meaningful my wedding was than theirs.

i know that millions of people watched Kate and Williams special day.
i know that their wedding expenses were out of this world while mine were conservative.
but my wedding will last forever.
 for.ever.
and even though there were no dignitaries or celebrities at my ceremony
there were countless relatives, both in this world and those in the next,
witnessing our sacred sealing.

yes, Kate and William, you might have me beat on "biggest wedding of the century",
but your "to death do us part" can never compare to my eternal mate.

never.
