ode to my mother{s}

while making strawberry jam {that's right--i am making strawberry jam...right now}

i am wishing that i had my mother here to help me.

she could make sure my crushed strawberries are small enough

or that the pectin is ready to pour in

or help me pour the jam in the containers.

so yes, i'll admit i'm a little home sick.

but maybe it's not "home" sick, 

but "mom" sick.

however, it's not just my mother that i miss.

i miss blake's mother as well.

both of these women are amazing and bring a whole lot of love and happiness into my life.
