feeling victorious

first of all i would like to say that i haven't had a piano lessons in years,
but today, without the help of a teacher,
i was able to play the first two pages of this song.
if you don't care--forget you. i am very proud.

not only did i manage to play it flawlessly,
i also played it on a keyboard, without weighted keys
{which is very difficult if you haven't tried playing on one}

conquering the first two pages gave me feelings of euphoria.
i stood up and yelled, "I did it!"
to me, some piano music is like a rival
i keep playing it over and over.
once i have come off victorious
we are no longer rivals but best friends who long to spend time together.
this is who i'll be spending my free time with.
{after my test, of course. but we all need a small break every once in a while...}

  2. ok, I couldn't do this if I practiced for the rest of my life. Just one more thing on your list of talents, I am impressed. You should be proud!
