I fell in love in Provo

the finals of winter semester 2009 brought an interesting chapter of my life to a close,
only to open up one of my favorites during spring semester.

mornings were spent in math, biology and lab classes. afternoons of longboarding, reading, and studying in the sun were common. my nights, however, were consumed with a boy unlike any other. our first date consisted of dying Easter eggs and countless rounds of Mafia. he called me the next week to kick the ball around and i instantly fell in love. we were together almost every day. instead of watching movies we would play soccer and frisbee in Kiwanis Park. while other students were at graduation parties we hiked the Y at night. i left my Camelback water bottle in Caitlin's car when she went to St. George--he bought me a new one. when i found i could no longer eat gluten he made me a Gluten Free pizza.

he introduced me to Thai food, sushi and Persian cuisine.

i was just me--and he was just him.
no shows. no lies. just honesty from the start.

when spring semester came to an end he took me to Zion's where we traversed the Subway together.
we returned to Provo he asked me if i could live in California.
  i said yes.

and here i am, living in California. thanks, Blake
