seasons

at 10:45 am at 75 degrees and rising, 

i am quite happy here in California.

but right now i am thinking of Utah weather. 

i miss the excitement of 50 degree weather--where people

think it's "warm" and break out shorts and flip flops.

i miss when the earth really says, "hey, it's spring alright?"

and throws out the flowers and the grass turns green.

i miss when the sun finally comes out for more than a day.

i miss when the air is warm and smells like summer is on it's way.

don't get me wrong--i love the 80 degree weather in March
